This house is formulated around the central double-height courtyard that brings natural light flooding in to all areas of the house and an exposed brick spine runs from the front door all the way through to the rear terrace. There is a rich continuity of external materials repeated throughout the internals of the house to constantly relate the outside to inside and the constant visual references to the landscape ensures the entire design is considered in light, orientation and outlook.
